My career has been a journey of discovery and growth, driven by a passion for impactful design. Graduating with a degree in Fashion Design in 2020 — right at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic — was challenging, but I was fortunate to land a job in the industry within a few months. Over the next three years, I learned just how much I enjoyed creating products that matter. Working closely with customers, listening to their needs, and delivering what they wanted was incredibly rewarding. I found myself energised by these challenges and inspired by the difference I could make.
During this time, I discovered my interest in UX Design. While fashion design is very customer-focused, I wanted to go further — creating products that solve real problems and enhance people’s lives. UX seemed like the perfect path, combining my love for design with technology to create solutions that genuinely help people. I dedicated my evenings to studying UX, researching the process, and gaining new insights, until I eventually decided to take the leap and enroll in a UX Design course at King’s College London. There, I gained hands-on experience in user research, ideation, and completing full double-diamond design projects, which deepened my understanding of impactful design.
This experience reinforced my passion for meaningful design, particularly in areas like sustainability. Now, I’m eager to take on new challenges in UX, tackling complex problems, creating positive experiences, and making a greater impact.
